Want to understand what goes into designing a logo? (It isn’t magic.) We took one of our logo projects, and made a presentation about each step we followed in coming up with a design our client loved.
To convey how we approach a corporate identity, we pulled together samples of work we created for a client who needed a new identity, soup-to-nuts (or logo-to-website).
Since we often include transfer of copyrights on our logo design estimates, we get a lot of questions about copyright: what is fair use, what is public domain, and why do we refuse to do work made for hire. A good resource is the Copyright Law Explained resource on the Copyright Alliance’s website. (Need more information? We can recommend a good IP lawyer!)
